The original, and quite possibly the best, face-to-face management challenge available today and from which all of our other challenges have been developed from. Open to teams from the private, public and voluntary sectors there are currently seven individual 'specialisms' (Local Authority (Tier 1/2), Town/Parish Councils (Tier 3), Fire and Rescue Service, Police Service, NHS, Housing Association and Voluntary) that can run concurrently thus allowing all teams to participate in a familiar area and on a level playing field. Run annually in 7 regions across England (London & South East, South West, West Midlands, East Midlands & York/Humber, East of England, North West and North East). More information can be found at www.trisectorchallenge.com (opens in a new window).
A bespoke event, based on Tier 2 local authorities, to support the final stages of the District Councils' Network staff development programme.
THE UNIVERSITY CHALLENGED CHALLENGE
This event is in the conceptual phase - the likely direction is for two seperate Challenges. The first will be aimed at university staff, the second will be aimed at undergraduates/graduates. More detail will be made available as the concept is developed.
THE TRI-SECTOR APPRENTICE CHALLENGE
An opportunity for apprentices, from all sectors, to challenge each other (face-to-face) with the emphasis on developing key skills such as public speaking, lateral and creative thinking, networking, team building, negotiation and political awareness in a relaxed, but fun, format. Event likely to be formally launched in 2025.
Want to support one of our events as part of your own personal development? You don't need to be a subject matter expert as full guidance will be given in the build up to the event. Please contact us for further details.
The success of our Challenges relies on their being an element of 'surprise' on the day.
